ONC Publishes Final Federal Health IT Strategic Plan

Following the analysis of the comments received during the public comment period, ONC has published a final version of The Federal Health IT Strategic Plan 2011-2015.
The strategic plan is developed under the leadership of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) and in close collaboration with other federal partners. The Plan reflects a strategy for coordinating with the public and private sector to realize Congress’ and the Administration’s health information technology (health IT) agenda: improving the quality, efficiency, safety and patient-centeredness of health care.
